Born on 31st October 1930 in Visakhapatnam to Sri Srinivasa Rao Naidu and Smt. Alivelu Manga Thayaramma, his early values laid the foundation for a life of public good and human upliftment.

📚 Academic Brilliance with Purpose

His educational journey spanned Narasipatnam, Srikakulam, Ichapuram, Parvathipuram, and Anakapalli, culminating in an M.A. in Economics from Andhra University and an LL.B. from Delhi University. These qualifications became the foundation of his impactful public service.

In Patriotism in Action

As a young nationalist, he joined the Student Congress and took part in the Quit India Movement. He played key roles in the Andhra State formation movement and led the fight for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

🏛️ Political Leadership that Transformed

Twice elected as a Municipal Councillor and later as Vice Chairman of the Visakhapatnam Municipality, he was elected MLA in 1978 and served as Minister for Municipal Administration, Urban Development & Education. His progressive policies shaped Visakhapatnam’s modern identity.
